I have to be one of the fussiest people when it comes to keeping a clean home. This character trait is complicated by the simple fact that I am unbearably lazy, too. Keeping up with multiple felines used to be a real struggle for me but I finally found a solution that addresses my lazy side and my fussy side in a cat litter box.

This may come as a great surprise to some but the right cat litter box can save you a lot of time and aggravation in the long run. This is especially true if you have more than one cat in the home. Anyone who is tired of cleaning regular old litter boxes wants to keep their eyes peeled for an automatic version of the product.

You got it; a self-cleaning cat litter box is a real treat for any clean freak that has a lazy streak. I found one of these gems on an infomercial that actually kept me awake thinking about dropping some cash on this invention. I decided to do a little research before forking over any money, though.

What I discovered was that I could expect to spend a lot more for a self cleaning cat litter box. It does cost more than the usual old fashioned kitty box. However, I also discovered that this handy item pays for itself as you use it over time. I don’t have to buy nearly as much litter and this saves me quite a bit of money in the long run.

Any cat owner will tell you that keeping a clean cat litter box can be an expensive chore if you go about it using the traditional means. The automatic version keeps litter clean and fresh so it doesn’t need to be changed nearly as often. The savings add up in record time.

My house feels cleaner and it most definitely smells cleaner. I spend less on air freshening systems and aerosol sprays designed to neutralize the air. The automatic cat litter box is a wonderful addition to my home and the kitties love it, too.

Now that I have a fresh house and a couple happy cats, I’m even thinking about getting a new kitten. With the money I’m saving on supplies, I can afford a new little fur ball. The automatic cat litter box is a great investment for any cat lover to make. Keep in mind that Automatic products are manufactured with you in mind as well as your pet.

Automated Pet Feeders

As much as we love our pets, they can be annoying at times. Take the early morning for instance. If you have a cat or a few cats like I do, then you must hear them crying and whining at an early hour. They basically want you to get out of bed and feed them. I despise this ritual. I’ve actually gotten to the point where I close my bedroom door at night just so I don’t have to listen to them meow over and over in my ear. Then one day something hit me. Okay, it was a cat toy that my female feline was tossing up in the air. As it pegged me in the forehead, I got an idea. I should go to the pet store and see what kind of automatic pet feeders they offered. This was quite possibly the solution to their whimpering.

At the pet store I encountered infinite wonders. Well, at least their amazing if you’re a cat I suppose. Anyway I found a few different styles of automatic pet feeders. Out of the three, I got all stoked about the ERGO 8 Day Feeder. Now just to be clear, this one said it was for dogs, but I certainly didn’t care. I knew I could make it work for my cats. And if you’re wondering, the price was 100 dollars. However, I’ve since found it online for 80 bucks. Darn it! I hate it when that happens.

If you have cats or dogs, you might want to consider one of the new-age electronic pet feeders. These really do simplify things. Imagine a life where you no longer have to get up at the crack of dawn to feed those cats. My mom’s feline wakes her up at 4:30 am every single morning, and I still can’t convince her to purchase a cat feeder. Go figure! Anyway, you wouldn’t even have to worry about your pets when you’re at work all day. You’ll know they’re taken care of because you left them a full automatic pet feeder. The compartments open at a certain time each day like clockwork. Furthermore, these pet feeders are ideal for when we go on vacation. I know we can stay gone all week since the cat feeder is loaded with food. As long as the cats have their food, water and litter box, they’re pretty much good to go.
